H&A’s client service team are briefed not to sell H&A services, but to sell a client’s product. It is their job to understand the clients business and to assist clients in the development of strategic and tactical solutions to business requirements.H&A employs client service professionals in each of its regional offices (Durban and Johannesburg). Key areas of focus include developing relationships and achieving the highest levels of fulfillment for our clients and their brands.
Strategy
For the client who requires a holistic retail strategy, a display solution is simply not enough. Our extensive experience with trade environments, appropriate markets, consumer insights, latest trends, and industry related developments enable us to provide innovative solutions which include any storage, distribution and implementation problem.We work closely with sales, marketing, channel and category leaders to ensure that our product enhances theirs. Design
In addition to manufacture, H&A has its own ‘through the line’ advertising and design studio which is able to demonstrate its specific strengths in becoming a leading provider of strategically driven, innovative, cost effective and appropriate ‘Marketing at Retail’ solutions, where exceptional design is deployed to meet the business needs of its clients' brands.
To ensure optimum shopper engagement, H&A employs specialists in the creative arenas of graphic and structural design. We draw upon skills from the fields of architecture, structural engineering, graphic design, and the various art media to develop impactful, innovative display solutions of the highest quality to suit our client’s budget.
Creative and graphic design is undertaken with the upmost sensitivity to brand blue prints and by working closely with our clients brand builders.
Staying ahead of the game entails constant research and development into shifting shopper requirements, brand key developments and trade environments. H&A invests in keeping current with global trends in marketing and advertising. Attending workshops and conferences such as Druppa, ECR, Globalshop and POPAI Online University helps us to achieve this.
H&A is also represented, as a founding member, on the board of the South African chapter of POPAI. The marketing at-retail industry will now be taking significant steps forward to develop standard metrics to be syndicated for all in the industry to use. POPAI, with others from around the world, has begun to develop this research standard under a program called the Marketing at Retail Initiative (MARI).
H&A regularly benchmark and test production performance, drawing on comparisons between suppliers in both local and international industries. Through the ongoing process of research and development, new and innovative manufacturing techniques are being sourced and tested in order to enhance the competitive edge of a clients’ product.
